Outdoor NoVA Workout Classes to Try Every Day

Need to feel the burn this month? Here are some yoga, zumba, and pilates options.

Savor the warm summer breeze with an outdoor fitness class, or better yet, a free one. This August, it’s easier than ever to shake up your exercise routine with a motivating workout class in the great outdoors. Check out 14 free or low-cost workouts.

Monday, August 7, 5–6 p.m.; Wednesday, August 2 and Wednesday, August 9, 6–7 p.m.

Clarendon’s yoga and Pilates studio Mind the Mat partners with George Mason University for this outdoor yoga series at Mason Square Plaza. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, from first timers to seasoned yogis. Don’t forget to bring your mat. 3351 Fairfax Dr., Arlington, free

Mondays and Wednesdays through August 30, 6–7 p.m.

Part of Reston Station’s Summerbration series, Beloved Yoga hosts Yoga on the Plaza twice a week through the end of the month. Bring your mat and water bottle and prepare to master those sun salutations. 1900 Reston Metro Plz., Reston, free

Tuesday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 22, 6–7 p.m.

Looking to sweat on your Saturday morning? Check out Body Weight Bootcamp series at The Boro for a high energy, bootcamp-style workout. All levels are welcome, and modifications will be offered. 8350 Broad St., Tysons, free with registration

Saturdays through September 23, 10–11 a.m.
